ENTHRONEMENT OF ARCHBISHOP ELPIDOFOROS OF AMERICA
Dimitrios Dimitriadis attended, upon a personal invitation, the enthronement of Archbishop Elpidoforos of America. With Byzantine splendor and in the presence of a large crowd at the archiepiscopal church of the Holy Trinity in Manhattan, the new Archbishop of America, Mr. Elpidoforos, was enthroned by Metropolitan Avgoustinos of Germany representing Ecumenical Patriarch Vartholomeos.
